About this event

ASI is the global industry leader and was the first aircraft disassembly company to be established in Europe. ASI has carried out over 650 projects worldwide over the last 18 years. The facilities at Cotswold Airport has 170,000 sqft for of hangar space, Parking for up to 20 wide jets such as A340’s and Boeing 747’s in addition up to 50 narrow bodied aircraft.
Annually ASI dismantles between 50 and 60 airliners at Cotswold Airport, which is approx 14% of the world’s aircraft retirement.
The group company has EASA Part 145 to perform care and maintenance, and CAMO on most aircraft types, in addition SKYLINE AERO parts trading company to support operators.

Arrive 16.30 to start at 17.00, the tour will take approx 2 hours.
No refreshments will be provided.
Programme subject to weather and aircraft stored
1. Introduction to ASI hangar 1
2. Tour of Outside both Hangars
3. Tour of hangar 2 and a brief talk about the process
4. Tour of D Site Apron……usually we have a B747 parked so will go on board
5. Tour of Belfast parking Apron and the large number of aircraft we have in storage
6. Tour of Break up site and a brief talk how we dispose of the un wanted airframes
7. Return to hangar 1 for roundup of tour
8. End of Tour

The entrance is from the A433 on the north side of the airport, look out for signpost RVP2.
