What do you know about Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres? 
Do you work with gas or dust or simply enjoy flashes and loud bangs? 

Come and join us to learn about: 
  • Legal foundations

  • Fundamentals about the origin of Explosions, Deflagrations and Fires

  • Risks resulting from improper storage or handling of substances

This lecture is aimed at those responsible for Health and Safety in the workplace, Environmental responsibilities, Operations, HR, Managers and Directors.

The lecture includes many different experiments to illustrate the technical content. There will be flashes, flames, explosions and noise. Places in the front row are on a strictly first come first served basis!

The lecture opens by covering the necessary Legislation and moves quickly into 18 graphic live desktop Chemistry style experiments that clearly demonstrate what goes wrong, when storage is incorrect or handling is not taken seriously.
