About this event

People working under Engineering Graduate Schemes contribute to estimating briefs, specifications and overall solution design and development and provide specialist input on the industrial plants on projects worth up to £200m. Women remain a distinct minority in science and engineering, representing approximately 10 percent of professionals in these fields. The speakers will relate about their experiences as female graduates working in engineering environments as members of multi-disciplinary Engineering teams on a collaboratory basis. They will explain how the Engineering Graduate Schemes enabled smooth transition from the university to working environment of female graduates so they can attain their full potential in the engineering profession.
