About this event

Forensic engineering involves investigations that have the potential to form part of criminal or civil law cases. This talk provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the forensic engineer whilst working with laypeople, individuals, teams, companies, other ‘experts’, insurers, solicitors, barristers and the Courts. In particular, this talk will discuss fraud, personal injury, industrial accidents, product design and manufacturing faults and the associated financial loss caused by fire, explosion and mechanical failure, with emphasis on mechanical engineering supported by case study.
