About this event

Being assertive can be daunting, leaving you wondering where to start.  This introductory workshop examines how to be assertive without being seen as over-bearing while giving hints and tips on delveloping your skills in interacting with your co-workers.
The IET Buckinghamshire Local Network is here to support you with your professional development.
We have organised a programme of Lifeskills workshops that have been specifically developed to help you through the Professional Registration process.
We do recommend that you attend all three of the workshops to fully benefit from the programme, but it is not essential.
This is the first course of three in the programme of Lifeskills courses for Buckinghamshire.


  • 6pm Arrive for a Networking session
  • Light refreshments available during the Networking session
  • 6.30pm Course starts
  • 9pm Course finishes
