About this event

Announcements by Google, Amazon and others have fuelled speculation that robots are about to deliver long expected promise. 

Rob will give his perspectives focusing mainly on the application of snake-arm robots in harsh environments: nuclear, oil&gas, aerospace and construction. 

Rob is co-founder and director of OC Robotics and is a member of the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Special Interest Group which is advising the UK Government on investment strategy for robotics R&D.
