Talk 1: Assisted Vision talk by Dr Stephen Hicks

Over 300,000 people are registered as blind in the UK and a team at Oxford University is developing smart-glasses using computer vision and electronic components usually found in mobile phones, to help people use their remaining vision to see and avoid obstacles.

Talk 2: Autonomous Cars & Introspection by Pr Ingmar Posner

This talk will describe some of the work in navigation and perception done by the Oxford Mobile Robotics Group, aiming to provide robust & long-term autonomous driving at a price point suitable for mass-market adoption.
