About this event

Advancements in innovative design and manufacturing processes for optics are crucial for the growth of some industries including consumer electronics and toys in today's global markets.  New technologies for optics play a crucial role in these industries in order to develop innovative products and applications.  Speakers from different stages of the optical product development will share their knowledge in this forum with the audiences.

Engineering Open House Day takes place on Friday 28 July 2017 (with the exception of two events) and aims to help children (7 - 16 years-old) and their parents understand what it’s like to work as an engineer. It gives them special, behind-the-scenes access to a wide variety of organisations to demonstrate how creative and innovative a career in engineering could be.
