About this event

This technical visit is a good opportunity to acquire the updated information about Integrated circuit (IC) fabrication processes and electrical goods testing methods.
By visiting the Electronic Packaging Laboratory, IET members can understand the latest development of Integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing process, mechanical reliability test, failure analysis, material characterization and long term reliability test.
And then, members will visit Jockey Club Controlled Environment Test Facility (JCCETF). This facility is an HOKLAS accredited laboratory established in 1999. Members will see how household equipment, such as air conditioner, refrigerator and dehumidifier, are tested in an accredited test laboratory.
