About this event

The project is to install approximately 220km of new 400/275kV overhead line(OHL) infrastructure to replace the existing 132kV OHL between Beauly in Scottish  Hydro Electic Transmission (SHE-Transmission) to Denny in Scottish Power Energy Network (SPEN). 
The project also involves the dismantling of the existing 132kV OHL and the building of substation at Beauly, Fasnakyle, Tummel Bridge, Braco and Denny. The boundary between SHE-Transmission and SPEN is at Wharry Burn. SPEN are responsible for developing the OHL, Denny Substation and network reinforcement south of Wharry Burn. The presentation will cover SHE-Transmission overview of the project, description of the technical requirements, project challenges and coordination with SPEN.
