About this event

The Air Traffic Control Centre, Control Tower and associated training facilities are situated in the Air Traffic Control Complex which is located at mid-field of the Hong Kong International Airport. It is equipped with advanced radar displays and modern communication equipment, provides approach control and area control services to traffic in the Hong Kong Flight Information Region.

An Education Path is constructed inside the CAD Headquarters with a view to arousing the interest of the general public in aviation. There are 3 exhibition galleries within the Education Path, each with a particular theme and topic.  

While fastening your seatbelt before landing and after take-off, have you ever thought of the traffic arrangement and information exchange between the flight and ground, to ensure your journey is pleasant and safe? By participating in this visit, participants could understand the seamless collaboration between Air Traffic Flight Services Officer in Air Traffic Control Complex and Captain on the flight. The knowledge of aviation, including the history and other services provided by CAD, could also be discovered in Education Path.
