Synopsis

IET North Yorkshire Network are pleased to be sponsors again of the York Festival of Ideas in 2014. 
This panel discussion will look at the challenges around increasing demand for food, increasing constraints on supply growth such as climate change, nutrient, fuel, land and water competition, and the need to be more sustainable. The future food security of the UK is a major challenge and one that can make the difference between "order and chaos" (the theme of the 2014 Festival of Ideas).
