About this event

The IET's Present Around The World (PATW) competition (North Wales heat) is open to anyone in the 18 - 26 age range whether they are an IET member or just thinking about becoming a member.  The competition is weighted towards an ability to communicate, share and explain your idea in a presentation; your work doesn't have to be the latest technological breakthrough. There is a cash prize for the winner. Please visit for more details. The only criteria are that the topic is in the field of interest of the IET and it is your own original work. The winner then goes on to the North of England  finals and then they could have the chance to represent the UK at the global finals later in 2014.
