Organised by the Scotland South East local network.

About this event

Had-Fab Ltd. is a growing company that specialises in steel design and fabrication for the electricity supply industry, in the UK and beyond. It has the facilities on site to design, manufacture and fabricate bespoke structures to whatever specification the customer requires.

It has also used this expertise in a most unique and iconic piece of artwork - Exposure by artist Anthony Gormley, which takes the form of a crouching man over 25m high and weighing over 60 tonnes which now stands in Lelystad in the Netherlands

The design office makes extensive use of 3D structural design software as part of the design process, which allows the creation of very complex designs with relative simplicity. Files from the 3D modelling software are exported to act as control files for the CNC machinery in the workshop, ensuring the accuracy of the fabrication.
