Students and young professionals, enter the Present Around the World competition at Texas A&M and see if you can reach the global final in London. Members, please come, be a judge, and cheer on the A&M students.

About this event

Competitors, aged 18 to 26, are asked to give a 10 minute presentation on a subject related to engineering or technology and to answer questions for a further five minutes.  The competition is open to both IET members and non-members.  The emphasis is to develop participants' presentation skills (75% of the evaluation) with less focus on the technical content (25% of the evaluation), enabling all competitors to participate on an equal footing.  The presentations are delivered in front of a panel of judges and an audience. 

Presentations are given through three different competition rounds - local network, regional, and global. Winners at each level proceed onwards.  There are cash prizes to be won at each stage and all expenses paid travel for competitors at the regional and global levels.
