5S at Life Technologies

This visit is to Life Technologies Inchinnan Site, to view 5S in the Cell Culture Products manufacturing facility. 

5S is a systematic method for the improvement of the workplace, processes, and products through employee involvement, and forms part of the foundation for a continuous improvement culture.

The visit will give a presentation of the Life Technologies Inchinnan implementation of 5S, and will be followed by a plant tour of the manufacturing departments to see the results of that Implementation.

Due to space restrictions, numbers are limited for this visit and prior registration stating the attendee’s Company and or the educational establishment represented is essential.

Technical visit organised by the Institution of Engineering and Technology Scotland Manufacturing Technical Network.
