Lecture - “Lights, Camera, Railway”
Tom Ingall better known for his work with the BBC, will this time talk about Great Central Railway near Loughborough in which he is active-ly involved. Film makers who turn their attention to main line railway images often turn to the Great Central Railway as a source. Tom will explain what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ and show what gets left behind on the cutting floor, share some of the secrets of turning a small country station into a large London terminus. Extracts from major film and TV productions will be shown.

Annual York Event
This event takes its usual format of afternoon visit, High Tea at the University and evening lecture. Aftwernoon visit to York University, Film and TV Department, including the Media Suite at 2.00pm, fol-lowed by High Tea at 4.45pm. Booking is essential for the visit and tea.
