The Olympic Games is the world’s largest broadcast operation bring-ing sports action to an estimated 5 billion people which means the HDTV lighting has to be perfect. In helping to achieve this goal some pioneering work was undertaken by the ODA appointed Broadcast Overlay Lighting Advisor which ultimately led to the success of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games being recognised as the best televised Olympic event ever.
