About this event

The internet works via unique identifying address's. IPv4 address exhaustion is upon us and the need for a new protocol is becoming urgent. This lecture will look at the reasons for address exhaustion and the technical differences between v4 and v6. There are also commerical and regulatory considerations to consider in the long term future of v6 and the internet.
