Engineering Gold

The IET and Sheffield Hallam University have created a unique European lecture tour showcasing some of the UK's world leading research into sports equipment and technology.

Fourteen lectures will be given in ten countries. The lectures are suitable for a general audience and all ages - all that is needed is an interest in sport and there is bound to be a lecture near you that will be of interest. Sports covered include golf, tennis, football, athletics and skeleton bob sleigh.

The lectures are given by practitioners in their chosen sports with over 100 years of scientific research experience between them.
