This two day course is the first step towards becoming PRINCE2 qualified. You will receive an introduction to PRINCE2, its principles and how to manage a project using the PRINCE2 methods.
This course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to pass the PRINCE2 Foundation exam with a mixture of group work and exam-based practical work. During the course you will complete a series of mock examinations and gain feedback on your progress. At the end of the second day you will sit the PRINCE2 exam, this is a one hour exam with 75 multiple choice questions. The trainer will mark your exam paper and you will receive your results at the end of the day, if you have been unsuccessful you will be offered the opportunity to re sit the exam on the same day.
To ensure you are prepared fully and get the most out of the course, you will receive a comprehensive pre-course pack. You should aim to do a minimum of eight to ten hours pre-course reading.
Objectives:
- understand the purpose and content of all roles, components, processes and techniques involved;
- identify which management are input, output and updated in the processed of controlling a stage and managing the product delivery;
- identify the relationships between processes, deliverables, roles and the management of a project.
Delegates will be provided with refreshments, lunch and appropriate course material.
