About this event

Globally, everyone working for or with any manufacturing entity is aware of the next industrial revolution that will change the way we make things and bring them to reality. But the big question is how to initiate the concept of industrial internet of things or industry 4.0.

This event brings together manufacturing experts from different fields of technology who are working towards the next industrial revolution. They are willing to help the original equipment manufacturing companies and small to medium enterprises who wish to develop their business and adapt the roadmap of industry 4.0.

If you are a technology manager, technical expert of your company or an academic from a research group who wishes to understand which technologies will enable the development of intelligent manufacturing systems, this event will bring you valuable insight.

The technical talks will centre on:

• Industrial focus on automotive (high volume)
• Manufacturing challenges
• Understanding measurement systems and their importance to productivity
• Understanding integration challenges
• Solutions to advance integration techniques
• Industry 4.0 needs for measurement systems
• Potential solutions for systems implementation

Lecture - Wed 5 September 2018 at 18:00

Robotic systems are perhaps at their most valuable when carrying out tasks that would otherwise put humans in danger. In some cases they give us visibility or enable operations in environments so extreme humans could not even wilfully venture - space, nuclear and deep subsea.
