About this event

What’s driving the energy transformation? What kind of power system will be needed for the future? How will that change be implemented?

This lecture will explore these challenging questions, describe the key role of the Birmingham based Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) in shaping the response and summarise the work to date of the Future Power System Architecture (FPSA) project. The speakers have jointly over 80 years of experience in the transmission & distribution sectors and are both actively involved in the FPSA project, a collaboration between the IET and the ESC, undertaken with the support of Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
