About this event

The objectives of having this IET knowledge sharing seminar are:

  • To train upcoming successors to take up critical roles in the IET Malaysia Network;
  • Equipping upcoming leaders with IET knowledge shared by experienced IET Council member/community committee Asia Pacific’s chairman/International Professional Registration Advisor/Professional Review Interviewer;
  • To familiarise main committee members/YPS committee members/student leaders with the process of activity funding application/financial reporting/administration in The IET Malaysia Local network; and
  • To prepare an avenue for discussion/networking among Main committee members/YPS & student leaders.

Additional information


All participants are needed to gather and board a chartered bus from The IET Malaysia Subang office at 8am sharp on 5 September 2014. Participants who choose to use his/her own transport need to bear the cost.


Accommodation is reserved at Bayu Marina Resort, JB with Twin sharing bed in a deluxe room. Participants could choose to pay for his/her own single room without sharing with other people unless rooms have been prepared for the invited guests. Breakfast/Tea break/ lunch will be provided by the hotel unless stated otherwise as per seminar schedule. Free Wi-Fi will be provided in the rooms and public area.
