About this event

IMWS-Bio 2014 is an international forum for the exchange of information on state-of-the-art research in bio-electromagnetic, RF and wireless technologies for medical systems and healthcare services and ICT initiative bridging the science of microwave and EM with biomedical applications.

IMWS-Bio 2014 will bring together world-renowned expertise, industrial stakeholders and distinguished speakers who will be invited to deliver keynote speeches on technology trends and significant advances in relevant topics.

  • Microwave imaging for medical applications
  • Wireless localisation and positioning in medicine and healthcare services
  • Community-oriented healthcare services for bio-signals and remote patient monitoring
  • Electromagnetic fields’ interaction with molecular structures moving to nano-communication
  • Mm-wave and THz characterization of biological materials and living systems
  • RF/microwave methods and hardware for high-field MRI
