HiPerNano (High Performance Nanoengineering) 2013 is a unique opportunity for technology users to meet technology companies and specialists and find out the latest developments. The conference will highlight new developments in the application of nanotechnologies to new product design and the improvement, manufacture and maintenance relevant to all the high value manufacturing (HVM) and performance engineering sectors including aerospace, automotive, motorsport, offshore, defence and energy generation.

HiPerNano 2013 is pleased to welcome Ian Taylor, Technology Manager - Lubrication Science at Shell Research Ltd as the keynote speaker. The one day conference and exhibition will feature three parallel streams on Nanomaterials (Graphene & Nanocomposites), Surface Engineering (Protective & Functional Surfaces) and High Value Manufacturing (Advances in Nano/Micro Manufacture & Novel Manufacturing Concepts).

The technology presentations during the streams will be delivered by key industrial and academic professionals including Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery Limited, Tata Steel, Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd, GnoSys, Brunel University, Indestructible Paint Ltd, Jost Institute of Tribotechnology at the University of Central Lancashire, Cranfield University, The Centre for Polymer Micro and Nano Technology at the University of Bradford, Materials Solutions, and Miba Coating Group/Teer Coatings Ltd.
