About this event

This year the IET Communities Team are planning to host a series of evening workshops to be held nationwide.

These workshops will consist of 45 minute sessions providing training on the tools and resources we have available to help volunteers run activities and collaborate with other communities – the Events Calendar, Plus! for Events, MyCommunity and the Marketing Toolkit.

We are planning on holding the first workshop in Leeds on the 26th June 18:00 – 21:30.

Programme

18:00 - Introduction

18:15 - Session 1: Events Calendar

19:00 - Session 2: Plus! For Events

19:45 - 15 minute refreshment break

20:00 - Session 3: Marketing Toolkit

20:45 - Session 4: MyCommunity

21:30 - Close of event

  • Plus! For Events - A helpful tool to assist you in managing the administration associated with registration for your event.

  • Marketing Toolkit - Designed to make marketing easy, it has tools and templates for creating posters, flyers, newsletter and much more.

  • MyCommunity - The IET’s professional network and collaboration platform which enables you to connect, interact and exchange knowledge with your peers.

In order to attend this event you should:

  • Be part of a local network.
  • Currently be using/wish to start using the self-service tools the Communities team have available.
