About this event

This evening lecture outlines the results from a recent study on the potential to develop EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) in the North Sea.  Focusing on the economic potential as well as identifying potential fields as well as possible barriers.

Speaker

David Rennie has been Director, Oil and Gas/Thermal Generation and Carbon Capture and Storage since April 2010.   He has been involved in the setting up of Leadership Groups for both Oil and Gas and Thermal Generation and CCS,  which advises Scottish Enterprise on key priorities from an industry perspective. He lead the development of the industry led Scottish Oil and Gas Strategy, launched in May 2012, and is now focusing on delivering that strategy working with a wide range of organisations, including Subsea UK to deliver on its aspirations.
