About this event

Got an idea? Do you want to turn it into a business and make it happen?

The IET Berkshire Network introduces the IET Technopreneur Accelerator business leadership programme to get your idea, proposition or small business up and running, achieving growth and building value fast.

The programme consists of six workshops, based upon the proven Henley Accelerator programme, for future and present leaders of small businesses. The programme provides the opportunity for individuals to experience the learning environment of Henley Business School and prepares them to develop their skills and grow their businesses more quickly in an ever changing competitive environment.

This programme has been developed in partnership with VitalSix Ltd and SofTools, both small businesses in their own right that have been working with innovative small to medium sized enterprises (SME) for the last ten years, and is structured to offer a rewarding and challenging experience. It will combine some conceptual skills from an MBA with a practical understanding of how to overcome ever increasing barriers to growth.

Typically delegates will have a technical or functional background and, in the move to an entrepreneurial or leadership role, would benefit from insights and knowledge of business/commercial areas at both operational and strategic level.

Workshop Four - Overview

The fourth in the series, this workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Process development
  • Balanced Scorecard (KPI's)
  • Directors responsibilities

The workshop will be followed by the opportunity to connect with your peers in an informal networking session.
