The talk will consider the general issues associated with the development of EfW Facilities. The technical solutions, environmental options and the process performance of these facilities will be described and discussed. EfW facilities have a reputation for poor power generation efficiency, but the latest designs can yield impressive efficiencies. The trials and tribulations and process effects of incorporating CHP will also be discussed.
