About this event
The IET RF & Microwave Technology, Antennas and Propagation, Radar, Sonar and Navigation professional networks are organising a technical workshop on 'Microwave Metamaterials and their applications'. The workshop enables research students, young researchers and young professionals to interact with relevant industries and experts.
This workshop will include a 30 minute presentation from Academic Speaker Dr Yang Hao, Professor in Antennas and Electromagnetics at Queen Mary, University of London, and Industry Speaker David Daniels, Cobham Technical Services.
We are proud to announce that CST Computer Simulation Technology are sponsoring a Best Paper and Best Paper runner up prize.

Call for papers
Get involved and submit your abstract for the opportunity to present your poster at the workshop.
Poster themes:
- Fundamentals of microwave metamaterials and transformation electromagnetics;
- Modelling of microwave metamaterials and numerical aspects;
- Microwave and antenna applications of metamaterials;
- Advanced technologies for the fabrication and measurement of metamaterials;
- Microwave Metamaterials for broadband and multiband applications;
- Industrial applications of metamaterials;
- Compact microwave devices for future microwave wireless technology;
- Microwave circuit miniaturization techniques.
- Submission deadline for abstracts closed on Friday 03 February.
