    Are you fully exploiting the assets of your substation to maximise its value in a difficult economic climate? This event will equip you with the knowledge and skill to do just that: careful asset management and knowing how to exploit existing assets can make all the difference to successful management.

    In a time of change and development in the world of power transmission in the UK, there is a new and complex technology to be considered. The day will cover these advances, with a focus on implanting new substation technologies e.g. off shore and high voltage grids but also of maintaining condition and performance of existing assets.

    Building on the IET’s successful 2009 event, ‘Substation Technologies: Analysing the strategic and practical issues of modern substations’, this seminar is ideal for anyone involved in substation management and engineering to learn more about how asset management can help to increase efficiency.
