Building sustainable networks 2009

How do you as an innovator build a sustainable energy network
and create success in a new business paradigm?

Date 22 October 2009
iCalendar Entry (What's this?)

Time

09:00 - 17:30

Location

IET Birmingham: Austin Court, UK

Introduction

What are the great challenges faced by regulators, network owners and operators? How can you increase profitability and meet performance requirements? How will the energy sector meet customer demands and engage end-users to boost profitability in this new era of sustainable energy?

Energy organisations face increased pressures to meet the demands of the regulators, European targets, economic turbulence and rising network costs. With projects costs looking to surmount £100-150 billion by 2020, the industry also requires new ways of approach to these new issues. These pressures require innovators to ask new questions and face new concerns in today’s sustainable energy sector.

About the event

Building Sustainable Networks is a one day, pan-European seminar featuring dynamic sessions focused on topics currently keeping the midnight candles burning in the energy sector. This seminar presents case-studies and keynote sessions from senior executives delivering experienced-based solutions to the economic, regulatory, technical and consumer demands.
