About this event
Accessing broadband while we're 'on the move' is becoming a necessity. To address this need, a number of initiatives to pilot satellite-to-Wi-Fi broadband internet access on trains have been set up across Europe.
The IET seminar on broadband on trains will review current and planned services, together with enabling technologies, and provide an essential update for both communications and railway engineers involved in this exciting and fast moving field.
The seminar will bring together technology professionals concerned with the delivery of broadband wireless services to trains, including high speed internet access and voice communications together with services for train operating companies.
This seminar will be of interest and relevance to engineers working within satellite, railway and wireless communications sectors.
