About the event

WiMAX 2008 is an annual conference organised by the IET Comms Technical and Professional Network, Europe’s largest comms engineering community with 16,000 members from all over the globe. 2008 is the fourth year the IET is running events on WiMAX.

At the IET conference the delegates will get to grips with the real opportunities of WiMAX and the latest and in progress deployment plans from the UK’s major buyers (government, police force, etc.), large and small network operators as well as leading manufacturers. The conference will look at case studies, lessons learnt and performance results.
