Introduction
This seminar will give a comprehensive overview of Cognitive Radio (CR) and Software Defined Radio (SDR). It will bring together a number of communities and will focus on technical and applications challenges presented by SDR and CR and highlight some of the solutions being proposed to overcome these challenges.
The seminar, therefore, will present the latest technical advances in hardware technologies and software techniques which being applied to SDR and CR. These advances will cover the fields of commercial telecommunications, public safety and defence.
