Rhys Davies, Head of Strategic Asset Management, BSL
Rhys Davies graduated with BEng (Hons) and MEng in Electronic Engineering from University College of North Wales in 1990 and 91. He went on to complete an MBA in 1999 and is a Chartered Engineer.
Rhys has developed his career as an asset management specialist in a variety of industries including Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Telecoms and the Oil industry. Rhys’ roles have included systems design, consultancy, operations management and audit.
His current role is Head of Strategic Asset Management for BSL Management Consultants (a member of the Lloyd’s Register Group of companies). Rhys also is the Product Manager with responsibilities across the global energy and transportation businesses for Lloyd’s Register for all matters related to PAS 55.
Rhys represents Lloyd’s Register at IAM Patrons Group and is also a Member of the IAM Council. He sits on the IAM steering group for the review of PAS55. His current career focus is the application and verification of risk based asset management systems in asset intensive industries.
