Introduction
The Samlesbury facility is a high technology BAE Systems manufacturing and aerospace facility. The current site employs over 4,000 people and builds the fuselage and other parts for the Eurofighter Typhoon and other aircraft including the F-35 Lightning II and the T-45 Goshawk.
The visit will include an introduction to the business followed by a tour of the Advanced Manufacturing Facilities and Typhoon Major Units Assembly.

The tour will begin at 9.00, finishing at 13.00. A light lunch will be provided.
