An A4 booklet aimed at pupils in the 13-18 age range, which provides an introduction to the whole field of engineering. After a general description of what engineering is all about it goes on to outline all of the major engineering disciplines. The booklet then deals with the occupational, vocational and academic routes into engineering and introduces the three professional qualifications - Engineering Technician, Incorporated Engineer and Chartered Engineer. Finally, it looks at the role of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the support that it can provide to both students and practising engineers throughout their careers.
