IET Local Networks are made up of engineers and people working in technology from academia and business that organise meetings on a range of subjects. These meetings are open to the public and are usually free to attend.

Part of the Local Network’s remit is to identify challenges that society will face in the near future and how engineering and technology will help to find the solutions. They have access to a range of experts in their fields and in our SocIETy Insights series we bring together some of these experts from the events.

Please read the documents and share them with others. And if you have any comments on the subjects included go to Engineering Communities and join the conversation…
