The UK energy sector is facing a decade of rapid and significant change. A changing energy mix, driven by global energy policy, means that the ways we source, fuel, transport and use our electricity is set to be fundamentally different by the early 2020s. As energy users, each and every one of us are part of the solution – we just might not yet know it!
In December 2011 the Power Systems and Equipment Network delivered a seminar which brought together three very different presentations to encapsulate the scale of challenge borne by various parts of the energy sector, with a focus on learning resulting from activity on the ground today.
