LAPC was first held in April 2005 and since then has grown to become the largest annual conference in the field of Antennas and Propagation in the UK.  LAPC is now a truly global event regularly attracting about 250 UK and international attendees from Algeria to Australia and Malta to Malaysia.

Hosted each year at Loughborough University’s Burleigh Court Hotel, LAPC provides the perfect opportunity for like minded academics and industrialists to exchange ideas on cutting-edge research, form new networks and establish collaborative work.

The conference also welcomes commercial exhibitors who are able to showcase their new developments and gain insights into future trends. LAPC follows a single track format with invited talks by world-leading experts and followed by poster sessions.  The conference normally has two Chairs and Prof. Yiannis Vardaxoglou now serves as the Series Chair. The Wireless Communications Research Group at the School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering at Loughborough University, working with the Chairs and their respective institutions, is responsible for the organisation and running of the conference.
