International professional registration
Extend the recognition of your professional status
The IET offers three categories of registration for Professional Engineers who wish to practice within Europe (through FEANI) or internationally (through the IRPE or the International Engineering Technologists Register).
European registration - Eur Ing
FEANI certifies the engineering competence of professional engineers for most countries within Europe. Engineers registered with FEANI are awarded the title Eur Ing.
IntPE registration
IRPE enables Chartered Engineers to apply for professional registration in a signatory country, with minimum scrutiny of their qualifications and professional development. Engineers registered with IRPE are awarded the IntPE (UK) post nominal.
IntET registration
The International Engineering Technologists Register enables Incorporated Engineers to apply for professional registration in a signatory country with minimum scrutiny of their qualifications and professional development. Successful candidates are awarded the IntET post nominal.
