European engineer registration - Eur Ing
Extend the recognition of your professional status across Europe
Register as a European Engineer (Eur Ing) with Fédération Européene d'Associations Nationales d'Ingénieurs (FEANI). FEANI awards the title Eur Ing.
Engineers with suitable educational qualifications and a further period of professional experience, totaling seven years, may apply for registration.
Criteria
UK applicants:
- Must be a member of the IET and registered as a Chartered Engineer
- Should have minimum qualifications, typically a secondary education validated by certificates and an approved degree (in most cases an IET accredited degree will be sufficient).

To apply
Applications must be made through the IET, using guidelines and application forms from the Engineering Council (UK).
An initial fee of £150.00 applies, plus £40.00 every five years to renew the registration.
Cheques should be made payable to The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Application forms must be submitted in duplicate along with the registration fee.
