Who can help me?
The IET has a range of support services depending on the nature of your query, and your status within the IET. Please remember that you may also have access to support services at work, or within your local area.
We prefer to receive queries by email because it enables us to log and monitor your query and ensure that it is directed to the most appropriate person. When emailing the IET please make sure you include all relevant information. Outline your query concisely and please quote your membership number in all correspondence.

Pre-application registration advice for candidates
To ensure that your application meets the criteria and standards for professional registration, you may wish to seek some additional advice and guidance. In addition to your referees and line manager, or your mentor, the IET has a network of members who can offer you further advice.

Progress of your application
Once you have submitted your application, you will be given the contact details of your registration coordinator within the IET. This will be your main point of contact for queries about your application.
