Testing of Electrical Installations
A one day course with hands-on practice of electrical installation tests.
A series of test boards embrace the following tests:
- Continuity of protective conductors;
- Ring circuit continuity;
- Insulation resistance and polarity;
- Live polarity, earth loop impedance, prospective fault current and RCD operation.
Ideally, delegates should have personal copies of BS 7671: 2001 and IEE Guidance Note 3 Inspection & Testing (4th edition) as these are referenced throughout the course.
