Annual monitoring and renewal

Endorsement renewal information.

Endorsement is awarded for a period of three years and is renewable. Once endorsed, a provider will be required to complete a tailored annual monitoring plan in the form of a self assessment report (SAR), and a renewal assessment every three years.

Annual monitoring plans and renewal assessments are both subject to satisfactory reports being received from the IET’s members attending the provider’s courses/events. Evidence of using customer feedback and continuing improvement of courses/events must be demonstrated, and the IET expects to see evidence of steps taken by the provider to resolve any problem areas.

The endorsement panel will wish to see examples of publicity materials in order to monitor correct use of the endorsed training provider logo. Annual monitoring and renewal assessments require providers to list actions or recommendations for future implementation as development action plans.

The IET emails endorsed providers eight weeks before an annual monitoring assessment is due with the relevant renewal documentation.  These are also available on our forms, fees and guides page.

Endorsed providers are required to write brief paragraphs to answer each of the questions in the assessment and make reference to supporting documents where possible. Labelling and indexing of all supporting documents and a list of all enclosures are requested. If providers have electronic versions of attachments, these may be sent electronically to the endorsements officer whose email address can be found by visiting our contacts page.  Hard copy documents should be posted directly to the IET.
