Criteria and terms and conditions of the Corporate Partnership Agreement

Terms and conditions

  1. The IET Corporate Partnership Agreement is between: The Institution of Engineering and Technology ("the IET") and your organisation.
  2. To be eligible for the IET Corporate Partners Scheme a company must employ IET members.
  3. To be eligible for the IET Corporate Partners Scheme a company must be committed to professional development, promote professional registration and support members becoming professionally registered engineers and technicians.
  4. To be eligible for the IET Corporate Partners Scheme a company must designate an IET Champion.
  5. The IET reviews membership fees at the beginning of each calendar year.
  6. The IET will provide membership and/or professional development workshops (or similar) for the company, at a time and location agreed mutually with the company.
  7. Payment of membership fees is final and regardless of circumstances there will be no refunds. Membership is non-transferable.
  8. Either party may cancel the Agreement under the following conditions:
    1. if, during the Agreement period either party has failed to meet the conditions of the agreement;
    2. if, during the Agreement period both parties have agreed to cancel by mutual consent.
  9. The parties hereby undertake to comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and any related legislation in so far as the same relates to the provisions and obligations of this Agreement.
  10. The IET reserves the right to adapt IET Corporate Partners benefits and will provide the company with three calendar months' notice in writing of changes.
