IET membership mapping

Microsoft’s certification levels have been carefully mapped against the IET’s membership categories to ensure that you will be assigned the most suitable one for you.

Member (MIET) is the right category if you are working at graduate level, while Technician Member (TMIET) is if you are working as a technician. Depending on the category, you will be able to use the designatory letters MIET or TMIET to demonstrate to your peers your status and the type of work you do (subject to additional review of your CV to establish your current role and work experience).
