Gaining EngTech and ICTTech professional registration

As an apprentice, you can work towards Engineering Technician (EngTech) or ICT Technician (ICTTech) professional registration, providing higher earnings potential and international recognition.

Who can register?

Professional registration is open to everyone who can demonstrate an ability to perform professional engineering/ICT work to the necessary standards, and apprentices completing an IET approved apprenticeship are eligible to apply for EngTech, ICTTech and TMIET via a streamlined route.
